80 hour work week working two 9 to 5's
holding down multiple gigs, a struggle just to stay alive
give up a third of my life to punch a clock, it's do or die

and everywhere in between businesses, corporations

before you see any loot, all your money's spent
on paying the rent
and then the government takes it's percent

congressional, professional, confessional, progressional
a regress of progress, and now i confess
and declare war on the american dream
i got thoughts of ill schemes for the mass amount of cream
with my knowmassive team, we making progress, right?
or so it seems...

we got more, we care less
the mentality's 'get mine', fuck the rest
life in the big city adds on to the stress
this is what we strive for, but is this really progress?
